Cassidy Hubbarth is departing from ESPN after 15 years to join Amazon Prime Video as their top sideline reporter for NBA broadcasts.

In her new role, Hubbarth will work alongside renowned play-by-play announcer Ian Eagle as part of Amazon’s lead broadcasting crew. This move marks a significant step in Hubbarth’s career, giving her a prominent role in Prime Video’s upcoming NBA coverage.

Despite being a familiar face at ESPN and contributing extensively to its NBA coverage, Hubbarth never secured consistent hosting responsibilities or a spot on the network’s lead broadcasting team. Her transition to Amazon presents a major opportunity to elevate her visibility and impact within professional basketball media.

Amazon Prime Video’s partnership with the NBA spans 11 years and includes exclusive rights to broadcast six Conference Finals throughout the duration of the deal.
