Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren says that he’s enjoyed playing under new head coach JB Bickerstaff so far (18-18 record).

“He’s a great coach, great coach. Just in terms of not even just X’s & O’s, but just getting the message across, relating to players. I feel like he’s a guy who you could talk to. He’s a guy who understands, who wants to kinda hear both sides, and he’s a motivator. He’s a great coach, so I’ve loved playing under him. He makes the right calls, the right plays, and you see it. Our record reflects it. We not gon’ say it too early, but Coach of the Year candidate for sure in my eyes. So, I’m excited.”
