The Memphis Grizzlies delivered a commanding 140-112 win against the Washington Wizards on Sunday, extending their streak to three consecutive victories.

Despite missing key players Ja Morant and Brandon Clarke, Memphis maintained its dominance with a balanced offensive effort.

Jaren Jackson Jr. led the Grizzlies with 21 points in just under 17 minutes of play, while Scotty Pippen Jr. contributed a double-double of 14 points and 12 assists. Memphis’ bench provided a spark, with Santi Aldama adding 19 points, and Cam Spencer chipping in 14.

Washington struggled early, missing its first 11 three-point attempts. Although Jonas Valanciunas and Marvin Bagley III both scored 20 points for the Wizards, the team was unable to recover from a 16-0 Memphis run in the third quarter.

The Grizzlies shot 52.1% from the field and 39.5% from beyond the arc. Their depth was evident as ten players logged at least 15 minutes, collectively dishing out 34 assists.

With the victory, Memphis moved to 17-8 on the season, keeping them firmly in the playoff picture.

Jordan Poole, coming off a 39-point performance on Saturday, managed only nine points on 2-of-6 shooting. The Wizards’ record now stands at 3-19, with mounting concerns about their ability to compete this season.
