Austin Reaves is listed as day-to-day due to a left pelvic bruise as the Los Angeles Lakers prepare for their Sunday matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers.

“He’s like a connector for our offense, but he’s also a scorer and a playmaker,” said JJ Redick, highlighting Reaves’ important role on the team. The player had returned to Los Angeles to receive treatment for his injury, and his status remains uncertain for the upcoming game.

During a recent road trip, the Lakers struggled without Reaves, finishing with a 1-3 record in his absence.

In addition to Reaves, the Lakers continue to be without key players, including Jarred Vanderbilt, Christian Wood, and Jaxson Hayes.

In Friday’s loss to the Hawks, Gabe Vincent started in place of D’Angelo Russell, further highlighting the Lakers’ ongoing challenges with injuries.
