According to sources who spoke with Shams Charania of ESPN, Orlando Magic forward Franz Wagner sustained a torn right oblique during Friday night’s game and will be sidelined indefinitely.

The injury will require Wagner to be re-evaluated in four weeks to assess his progress and potential return to action.

On the season, the player has been performing at a high level, averaging 24.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game, showcasing his significant contributions to his team’s offense and overall playmaking.

Wagner has spent four seasons with the Magic, and in 256 regular-season games, he has averaged 18.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game.
