Cam Thomas, the high-scoring guard for the Brooklyn Nets, has been sidelined for the last five games due to a hamstring injury.

As reported by Brian Lewis of the New York Post, Thomas is still in the early stages of his recovery and there is no clear timeline set for his return to the lineup.

Despite being out, Thomas is staying optimistic about the process, focusing on following the performance team’s instructions as part of his rehabilitation.

Thomas expressed his commitment to doing whatever is necessary for his recovery, stating, “I’m just doing whatever the performance team has me doing. It’s still early. I’m just doing whatever they have me doing, just a little bit here and there. But it’s all right.”

His cautious approach highlights his focus on gradual progress, understanding the importance of taking the right steps before rushing back into action.

Though his absence has been felt, the Nets are hopeful that once fully recovered, Thomas will bring his scoring prowess back to the team.
