Former Milwaukee Buck Cam Thomas was waived yesterday, which caught many people by surprise.

However, when you hear what he said after Milwaukee’s 128-96 road loss vs. the Utah Jazz last Thursday, you do get the feeling that Thomas wasn’t comfortable being in-and-out of the rotation (played 23 minutes that night/two DNP-CD’s and a 3-minute game before that).

(via Milwaukee Bucks):

“It’s always tough [being in-and-out of the rotation], especially me being a rhythm player. No matter how you try to put it or try to say, ‘Be ready. Opportunity, whatever. Be ready whenever your number’s called.’ It’s tough, especially when your rhythm players get flow. And then, especially the way the defenses load up against me, so that’s even tougher. But I mean, I just wanted to be out there, change the game a little bit, get the lead closer than it was when I came in. So I think it was me just enjoying hoops, just playing, just hooping for real.”
