The Detroit Pistons have exercised the 2025-26 rookie scale team option for guard Jaden Ivey, along with center Jalen Duren, guard Marcus Sasser, and wing Ausar Thompson. This marks the fourth-year options for Ivey and Duren, and the third-year options for Sasser and Thompson.
Jaden Ivey, a key part of the Pistons’ future, was a regular starter last season, as was Duren. Thompson alternated between starting and coming off the bench, while Sasser provided valuable minutes as a bench rotation player.
The Pistons have not exercised the four-year rookie scale option for Wendell Moore Jr., who was acquired in an offseason salary-clearing trade from the Minnesota Timberwolves. If his option is not picked up, Moore will become an unrestricted free agent next offseason.
