The Detroit Pistons have picked up the 2025-26 rookie scale team option for center Jalen Duren, along with guards Jaden Ivey and Marcus Sasser, and wing Ausar Thompson. For Duren and Ivey, this marks their fourth-year options, while Sasser and Thompson had their third-year options exercised.

Jalen Duren, seen as a key piece for the Pistons’ future, was a consistent starter last season, much like Ivey. Thompson had a mix of starting and bench appearances, while Sasser was a regular contributor off the bench.

However, the Pistons have not yet picked up Wendell Moore Jr.’s four-year rookie scale option. Moore, who was acquired in an offseason salary-dumping trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves, could become an unrestricted free agent next offseason if his option is not exercised.
