Here’s New Orleans Pelicans small forward Saddiq Bey on former Detroit Pistons teammate Jaden Ivey getting waived by the Chicago Bulls.

“That’s my brother, man. He came in, he was a rookie when I was there in Detroit, and I love him. I think he can be misunderstood, I think in this situation, but I just think he is a big believer in his faith and really just stated strong to what he believes in. And I think you can’t fault nobody for that, everyone has their own beliefs. So nah, man, I love him and I’ll always be there for him. So, I definitely do empathize.”
