Chicago Bulls guards Anfernee Simons and Jaden Ivey have both been upgraded to questionable for Monday’s game against the Houston Rockets, according to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Sports Network.
Simons has been sidelined since February 21 after re-aggravating a left wrist injury – specifically a ulnar styloid fracture that dates back to training camp.
Ivey, meanwhile, hasn’t played since February 11 as he’s dealt with left knee soreness, officially diagnosed as patellofemoral pain syndrome.
Ivey has increased his activity level in recent weeks, and head coach Billy Donovan recently said the knee pain has subsided.
Although he’s appeared in just four games for Chicago since being acquired from the Detroit Pistons at the trade deadline, the Bulls are reportedly interested in keeping him long-term as a restricted free agent.
Simons was initially expected to remain out Monday, but now has a chance to return after missing 13 straight games.
The 26-year-old is set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
