Olympiacos has secured a major signing, bringing aboard Luca Vildoza on a two-year deal after his recent EuroLeague triumph with archrival Panathinaikos.
The 28-year-old guard averaged 5.7 points and 1.5 assists per game last season, culminating in his first EuroLeague championship.
Vildoza, hailing from Argentina, commenced his professional journey with Quilmes Mar del Plata before moving to Baskonia in Spain from 2017 to 2021.
Debuting in the EuroLeague with Baskonia, Vildoza played a pivotal role in securing the 2020 Spanish League title and was crowned MVP of the finals that year.
Following his success in Europe, Vildoza ventured into the NBA with the Milwaukee Bucks during the 2021-22 season.
After leaving the NBA, the guard signed with Crvena Zvezda and won the Serbian League title in 2023.
Vildoza’s accolades also include the Greek League championship and a double in the Serbian League and Cup during his stint with Zvezda.
