Maccabi Tel Aviv has secured a significant addition to their roster with the signing of Jaylen Hoard for the next two seasons.

The French-American forward joins Maccabi after standout performances with Hapoel Tel Aviv in the Israeli league.

Born on March 30, 1999, in Le Havre, France, to an American father and French mother, Hoard comes from a basketball family, with both parents and his sister having played at various levels.

He represented France in youth national teams and spent a year at Wake Forest University before entering the professional ranks.

Hoard began his professional career in the NBA with the Portland Trail Blazers and Oklahoma City Thunder, contributing 8.4 points and 5.7 rebounds per game over 26 appearances.

His performance has notably improved since, averaging 16.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per game in the regular season and contributing significantly in the playoffs with 12.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, and solid defense across multiple positions for Hapoel.
