Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton thought the group played determined basketball late in Game 3 vs. the New York Knicks (Pacers won 111-106 at home/outscored Knicks 26-16 during the fourth quarter).

Reporter: “As a group, you guys were operating on a pretty high wire there for that entire fourth quarter, close the entire time… What’s this say about this group? The way they were able to just battle it out, what did you like about what you guys were able to do in that stretch?”

Haliburton: “Just digging in, just digging in. Understanding our backs are against the wall. We’re here at home, obviously they handled business, both at home, and everybody knows what it looks like when you go down 3-0. So we had to come out, play desperate, play hard, and the third quarter got us again. We’ve really been poor in these third quarters all series, so we just didn’t let that deter us and responded the right way in the fourth, which was big from everybody.”
