The Denver Nuggets displayed championship mettle, delivering a commanding 117-90 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals.
Led by Jamal Murray’s 24 points and Nikola Jokic’s near-triple-double performance, the Nuggets dominated both ends of the floor, cutting the Timberwolves’ series lead to 2-1. Michael Porter Jr. contributed significantly with 21 points.
Denver’s sharpshooting from beyond the arc, hitting 14 of 29 attempts, coupled with their stifling defense, proved too much for Minnesota to handle.
Despite a quiet outing from Anthony Edwards, who led the Timberwolves with 19 points, Minnesota struggled to find offensive rhythm, shooting just 31% from 3-point range.
Karl-Anthony Towns (14 points), Mike Conley (10 points), Jaden McDaniels (10 points) were the only other Timberwolves players to score in double digits.
