During the Boston Celtics’ Game 5 victory over the Miami Heat, TNT sideline reporter Chris Haynes shared some positive news regarding big man Kristaps Porzingis.

Porzingis, who is dealing with a strained right soleus (calf), is hopeful to return in a couple of weeks. However, he is likely to miss the next series as well, with the possibility of returning if the Celtics advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. Porzingis was ruled out for Game 5 against Miami after experiencing discomfort during Game 4.

Fortunately, further examinations revealed no serious injury, such as damage to the Achilles tendon. Boston is currently awaiting the outcome of the series between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic to determine their next opponent.
