According to Christian Clark of NOLA.com, Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram left Thursday’s game against the Magic due to a left knee injury sustained after an awkward landing.

Ingram seemed to hyperextend his knee, visibly in discomfort as he was assisted off the court. Christian Clark reported that Ingram put minimal pressure on his knee while being escorted to the locker room.

Head coach Willie Green stated after the game that Ingram would undergo an MRI for further evaluation, but no additional details were provided at the time.

“It’s extremely difficult to see him go down,” Green said. “Our prayers will be going up tonight. Hopefully, we get some good news tonight.”
