Zion Williamson scored game-high 28 points, leading the New Orleans Pelicans (42-26) to a 104-91 triumph over the struggling Brooklyn Nets (26-43) at the Barclays Center on Tuesday night.

Backing Williamson’s outing was CJ McCollum, who contributed 16 points, while Larry Nance Jr. secured a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

The Pelicans’ victory extends their winning streak to three games and marks their seventh win in the last eight outings, solidifying their position as the fifth seed in the competitive Western Conference.

Despite 25 points from Cam Thomas and 15 from Mikal Bridges, Brooklyn struggled to contain the Pelicans’ offensive firepower.

A decisive 20-4 run in the second quarter propelled the Pelicans to a commanding 47-25 lead, setting the tone for the remainder of the contest.
