Dallas Mavericks phenom Luka Doncic shrugged off the hostility from Detroit Pistons fans, asserting that they understand the truth behind the chants despite their fervor.

In a recent matchup against the Pistons, Doncic faced the chants of “Luka sucks” from the home crowd, yet his performance spoke volumes as he orchestrated a dazzling 39-point triple-double to lead the Mavericks to a 142-124 victory.

Addressing the chants post-game, Doncic expressed bemusement at the negativity, stating, “I don’t know why would they do that. I love it. They know it’s not true, and they keep going, so I don’t know,” as reported by Grant Afseth.

This season Doncic is averaging 34.7 points, 9 rebounds and 9.8 assists in 37.6 minutes per game.
