Luka Doncic orchestrated the Dallas Mavericks’ (36-28) commanding 142-124 victory over the Detroit Pistons (10-53) with a breathtaking 39-point triple-double, marking his sixth consecutive 30-point triple-double.

Doncic’s stellar performance not only secured the win for Dallas but also etched his name in the annals of basketball history, surpassing Russell Westbrook’s record of five straight 30-point triple-doubles.

Supporting Doncic’s brilliance, Kyrie Irving contributed 21 points. Daniel Gafford and Tim Hardaway Jr. added 17 points each.

Despite a valiant effort from Cade Cunningham, who delivered a 33-point performance for the Pistons, Detroit struggled to contain Doncic’s offensive onslaught throughout the game.

As tensions flared in the fourth quarter, the game took a physical turn, culminating in a heated altercation between players from both teams, resulting in ejections and technical fouls.
