Amidst rumors of Dejounte Murray’s availability in the trade market, Shams Charania drops news, revealing the San Antonio Spurs’ keen interest in bringing back the dynamic guard.

In a recent report on FanDuel TV’s Run It Back, Charania disclosed, “Dejounte Murray is trade eligible starting today… One team that has a level of exploratory interest I’m told, is his former team, the San Antonio Spurs.”

Murray, at 27, is currently on the final year of his four-year, $64 million contract and has emerged as a pivotal force for the Atlanta Hawks this season. Averaging 20.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 5.2 assists in 34.5 minutes per game, Murray has become a sought-after asset.

Having been traded to the Hawks alongside Jock Landale in exchange for Danilo Gallinari and multiple future first-round picks a year and a half ago, Murray’s potential return to the struggling Spurs adds an intriguing layer to the NBA trade landscape.
