Euroleague champions Real Madrid have won the FIBA Intercontinental Cup by beating Brazilian champions Bauru 91-79 in the deciding game two on Sunday.
Bauru had beaten Real Madrid 91-90 in game one but the greater points difference secured the Liga Endesa champions’ fifth Intercontinental club crown.
Jaycee Carroll had 22 points for Real Madrid, with Sergio Llull, fresh off Eurobasket gold, adding 21 for the winners.
Ricardo Fischer starred for Bauru with 26 points and 6 assists.
