According to italian media Air Avellino is interested in signing Mexican-American SF Romel Beck. The Italian team, which will participate in the Euroleague's stages, faces problems with Tamar Slay, because his physical condition is not in a good level, so coach Zare Markovski is on the look for an additional option.
Romel Beck (26, 2.02) played last season for Pierrel Capo d'Orlando and averaged 15.7 points and 1.9 rebounds in 34 games for the italian championship. It must be noticed that during the last summer, Beck had come in terms with KK Zadar but he will not play for the croatian team.
Also, Air Avellino announced via their official site that Travis Best (36, 1.81) joins the team for the upcoming season and will take the place of Dan Dickau (30, 1.80) who left the team a week ago in order to play for Warriors Wizards in the NBA.
