Amidst the Los Angeles Clippers’ struggles during a six-game losing streak, the addition of James Harden to the star-studded lineup has drawn attention.

Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue recently shared insights into the initial response from Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr regarding the blockbuster trade.

According to ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk, Lue stated, “When [the Harden trade] first happened, Steve said, ‘Oh my God, going to be crazy.’ But he said if any coach can handle it, you’re the one guy that can handle it.”

Kerr, having experienced coaching super teams with the Warriors, recognizes the challenges and dynamics that come with assembling high-profile talents.

The Clippers, featuring a trio of Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and Russell Westbrook, have faced difficulties finding synergy with five consecutive losses since Harden’s arrival.

Harden is averaging 15 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 32.2 minutes per game since joining the Clippers.
