In a stunning display, Luka Doncic’s 44-point performance led the Dallas Mavericks to a commanding 144-126 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers in an NBA In-Season Tournament game.

The Clippers’ superstar quartet of Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Russell Westbrook, and James Harden is yet to secure a win together.

Doncic’s remarkable 17-of-21 shooting, including 6-of-9 from beyond the arc, propelled the Mavericks to a resounding win.

Kyrie Irving added 27 points, connecting on 5-of-8 three-point attempts, contributing to Dallas’ tournament record of 1-1.

The Mavericks asserted control with a dominant 47-18 second period, highlighted by a staggering 33-4 run in the first half, including 17 consecutive points. Their lead reached 32 points early in the third period, and they finished with their highest point total of the season.

Leonard led the struggling Clippers with 26 points, but it wasn’t enough to halt their four-game losing streak.

Harden, in his early days with the Clippers, emphasized the ongoing transition and his need to figure out “everything.”

The Clippers, scoring the first eight points, initially led 31-19 before Dallas took command. The Mavericks entered halftime with a commanding 77-51 lead, surpassing their previous highest-scoring first half.
