Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo said that Jamie Jaquez is a rookie who plays beyond his years following Wednesday’s 108-102 road win vs. the Memphis Grizzlies (11 points/3 rebounds/2 assists/2 steals/4-5 FG/1-1 3-PT/2-3 FT).

John Crotty: “How about your young rookie [Jamie] Jaquez knocking that corner triple down? Talk a little bit about him and what you’ve seen in terms of growth here early in the season?”
Adebayo: “He’s not a normal rookie. He’s well beyond his age, man. Just watching him play, he’s slowly starting to figure this game out faster than a lot of us have. For him to do that, for him to be in the game late in the 4th as a rookie speaks volumes to him, because I ain’t get that opportunity (laughs).”
