Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton applauded sophomore Bennedict Mathurin after last night’s 126-124 home win vs. the Milwaukee Bucks (26 points/11 rebounds/2 assists/1 steal/1 block/9-18 FG/3-7 3-PT/5-6 FT/+14+/-).

Reporter: “Maybe Benn’s best ever game on both ends. What’d you think of what he did for you guys today?”
Haliburton: “I thought he was great for us, thought he was great. He’s just playing the right way right now, figuring it out, that’s the biggest thing. Eleven rebounds is big, especially against a team like that who rebound so well. I thought he was just letting the game come to him and playing the right way. We’ve talked about going from first year to second year is not easy: It’s so many different things being thrown at you, second guessing everything, you’re thinking about everything too much. I think the last couple games he just went out there and played basketball, it’s been really good for us.”
