The Los Angeles Lakers have waived forward Vincent Valerio-Bodon and guards Damion Baugh and Scotty Pippen Jr, according to a team press release relayed by The Athletic’s Jovan Buha (Twitter link).

Pippen, the 22-year-old son of Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen, spent his rookie year with the Lakers on a two-way contract after not being drafted from Vanderbilt.

In 19 regular-season G League games last season, he posted averages of 21.4 points, 5.6 assists, and 4.1 rebounds. Pippen played in two preseason games this year for the Lakers, averaging 4.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists.

Damion Baugh, 23, joined the Lakers after going undrafted from TCU. He played in one preseason game and had a senior season at TCU with averages of 12.6 points and 5.8 assists.

Vincent Valerio-Bodon, a 22-year-old forward, had one preseason game with the Lakers. Standing at 6’10”, he averaged 8.2 points and 4.1 rebounds in the Hungarian NBIA last season.
