Houston Rockets guard Kevin Porter Jr. was arrested in connection with an incident where he allegedly attacked his girlfriend inside a hotel room at the Millennium Hilton New York near the United Nations.
The attack occurred overnight on Monday, resulting in the girlfriend sustaining injuries, including at least one broken bone and bruising.
The altercation reportedly started when Porter Jr. was locked out of the room after they had been out together. Hotel security called the police, leading to Porter Jr. being charged with second-degree assault and strangulation.
