Recent rumors have circulated that 5-time NBA All-Star John Wall is in negotiations with Olimpia Milano, a prominent EuroLeague team based in Italy.
Recently, the 32-year-old athlete held a workout in Las Vegas, where he caught the attention of several NBA teams. Despite his status as a free agent, Wall dispels the Italy rumors, firmly denying any plans of joining Olimpia Milano.
In response to the speculations, Wall took to Twitter, stating, “Where Do Y’all Get Ur Info from? False News!!” The tweet effectively clears the air surrounding his potential move to Italy and affirms his focus on exploring future NBA opportunities.
Following his signing with the Clippers last summer, and a subsequent trade back to the Houston Rockets at the trade deadline, Wall’s basketball journey took an unexpected turn. He was later waived by Houston, making him a free agent since February.
During the 2022-23 season, Wall averaged 11.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 5.2 assists in just 22.2 minutes per game.
