In a recent appearance on The OGs podcast, former NBA All-Star John Wall expressed his keen interest in joining the Miami Heat, stating that he would be “1000%” interested in such a move.
When questioned about the possibility of joining the Heat, Wall left no room for ambiguity, affirming his enthusiasm for the opportunity.
He emphasized his belief in his ability to contribute significantly to the team’s success, highlighting his prowess in playmaking and pick-and-roll situations.
“1000%,” Wall said when asked about his interest in joining the Heat. “I talk about it all the time. Just feel like I can help them a lot. Getting Terry [Rozier] was a great piece for them to, like somebody that can make plays and pick and roll for them and stuff.
“Even if I didn’t start, I think I could be another person that can help them and impact them. Me and [Udonis Haslem] talked about this plenty of times and I work out with Bam [Adebayo] a lot.”
The prospect of Wall joining the Heat comes amidst his extended hiatus from professional basketball. Since his departure from the Houston Rockets last February, Wall has been on the lookout for a new team to resume his career.
During the 2022-23 season, Wall averaged 11.4 points, 5.2 assists and 2.7 rebounds in 22.2 minutes per game for the Clippers.
