Milwaukee Bucks faced a setback, falling 121-118 to the Indiana Pacers in overtime in Game 3, with Giannis Antetokounmpo sidelined due to injury.

Adding to their woes, Damian Lillard’s availability is uncertain after he re-aggravated an Achilles injury late in the game.

Lillard’s presence was instrumental in Milwaukee’s comeback efforts, scoring 19 of his 28 points in the second half. However, he became a decoy in overtime due to his Achilles issue, limiting his impact on the court.

Despite being hobbled, Lillard remained on the floor, offering support to his team in a critical playoff matchup. However, his injury hindered his ability to contribute effectively during overtime.

Bucks head coach Doc Rivers acknowledged Lillard’s struggles, stating, “Honestly, Dame was really struggling. In the overtime, he literally said, ‘I’ll be the decoy. I just can’t go as far as explosion.’ So I thought Dame just being out there was huge for us.”

Looking ahead, Lillard’s health will be a primary concern for the Bucks as they prepare for Game 4. With the series hanging in the balance, Milwaukee will need Lillard at his best to overcome the Pacers’ resilient performance.
