Currently Jayson Tatum is sixth in scoring in the NBA with 30.4 points per game. With the Celtics having the second-best record in the league, he is one of the MVP candidates.

However, the 25-year-old forward is not focused on individual awards. He wants to return to the Finals and win his first championship.

“The only thing that matters to me is winning a championship,” said Tatum, per Chris Forsberg of NBC Sports. “Not MVP, not first-team All-NBA, none of that. I want to get back to the Finals and get over the hump.”
