Indiana Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle made it known Monday that the newly-extended Myles Turner is out of any trade frameworks anymore.

“[Myles Turner] is off the trade block,” Carlisle told reporters, via Marc Stein.

From the previous reports, it was determined that Carlisle is very much vocal in his campaign to have Turner in the long-term window of the Pacers. The big man has been a frequent member of trade talks for the past few years.

Both Indiana and Turner agreed to ink a two-year, $58 million extension last week, keeping the big man as a Pacer until the 2024-25 season.

Turner has been savoring a statistical improvement this season, averaging a career-high 17.5 points to go with 7.8 boards and 2.4 blocks. He is also churning a 54.4 percent field goal shooting – the best shooting split of his eight-year stay in the league.
