Former Denver Nuggets head coach George Karl is thumbs up on a potential trade of the franchise that involves Bones Hyland.

The Hall-of-Fame mentor penned down a Twitter post on Monday, noting that while Hyland is a highly talented guard, his inexperience and shot selections could bother the Nuggets’ contention come playoff time.

Hyland appeared as a recent component of trade chatter within the league this season, with Denver reportedly being “active” in trade talks about the second-year guard.

This season, Hyland is averaging a career-high 12.3 points to go with 3.0 assists and 2.7 boards. He is also shooting 40 percent from the field and a 37.9 percent shooter from three.
