Devin Booker is on course to make his return this week after being re-evaluated by the Phoenix Suns on his groin issues, sources told Duane Rankin of the Arizona Republic.

It was announced last Jan. 25 that Booker, though making significant healing progress, will still be re-evaluated for a week, extending the initial timeline given by the Suns that he will be out for four weeks.

Booker has been out since Phoenix’s Christmas Day matchup against the Denver Nuggets, reaggravating the groin injury that just allowed him to play for around four minutes.

Booker is tallying a career-high 27.1 points while dishing out 5.6 assists and 4.6 boards per game.

The Suns have gone on to tally a 7-10 record since Booker was sidelined from Christmas Day.
