Damian Lillard scored 36 points along with 10 assists and the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Dallas Mavericks 136-119 on Saturday night. The Mavericks star Luka Doncic was held to a season-low 15 points before being pulled with seven minutes to go. After the game, Dallas head coach Jason Kidd talked about the Mavs’ loss:
“They blitzed (Luka) every pick-and-roll. Again, I thought his reads were good. He only had one turnover. We made shots. It wasn’t so much our offense. It was our defense. We didn’t participate tonight… “
