Damian Lillard had 36 points along with 10 assists and the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Christian Wood-less Dallas Mavericks 136-119 on Saturday night to end the skid. After the game, Dallas head coach Jason Kidd was asked if injuries have taken a toll on the Mavericks:
“I don’t think so. We won in LA. We’re 24-20, and we’ve been hurt the majority of the season. Next guy up. Guys are competing and trying to do everything to help their teammates on the floor, both offense and defense… “
