Mac McClung – the athletic 6-foot-2 guard playing for G League’s Delaware Blue Coats – has accepted an invitation to be in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest at All-Star Weekend. He will be the first ever G League player in the NBA dunk contest.

McClung joins Shaedon Sharpe and KJ Martin so far in the dunk contest, averaging 17.6 points, 4.4 assists, 63.8 percent shooting, and 41.7 percent from 3 this season for the 76ers’ G League affiliate. The high-flying guard played in two NBA games for the Bulls and Lakers last season.
