Taking a consultation with the NBA, the Miami Heat has slapped Dewayne Dedmon with a one-game suspension in light of his bizarre off-court action during the team’s matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday.
Having a dispute against a member of the Heat coaching staff, Dedmon suddenly hurled a therapy gun onto the court as the game was still ongoing between the two ball clubs.
The big man was eventually ejected from the game, finishing with two markers and three boards.
The Heat went on to win the game in a close one, 112-111.
