Miami Heat big man Dewayne Dedmon was ejected from the team’s Tuesday matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder upon throwing an object towards the court.
Dedmon reportedly had a dispute with a Heat staffer which prompted him to hurl a massage gun onto the court with less than 10 minutes left in the first half.
The veteran center tallied two points and three boards prior to his exit. Based on his action, a fine against him may seem likely from the league brass.
The Heat went on to win the match, 112-111, behind the leadership of Jimmy Butler’s clutch performance.
