October is here, which means the regular season is right around the corner.

MarJon Beauchamp could develop into the player that the Bucks have been missing since losing PJ Tucker

Milwaukee rookie MarJon Beauchamp brings exciting potential on both ends. His shooting (45.8% 3-PT at summer league) and length on defense (7-foot plus wingspan) were areas I thought the Bucks were missing last year during the Boston series.

Heat need an extra defender in their starting lineup

Just like Milwaukee last year, losing PJ Tucker will be tough for Miami heading into this season. Hopefully someone else can step up as that 3rd lockdown defender along with Jimmy Butler & Bam Adebayo.

I like the professionalism I’m seeing so far from new Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla

Boston interim head coach Joe Mazzulla is handling the Ime Udoka drama with an impressive calmness. Obviously he hasn’t coached a game yet, but his interviews have shown me that he’s approaching this with hard work, staying focused, and sticking to what’s already made the team successful.

It’s gonna be interesting to see what other OKC youngsters establish themselves besides SGA, Dort, and Giddey

We know that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Luguentz Dort, and Josh Giddey are NBA starters, but what about their other youngsters? Talented returning players like Darius Bazley, Aleksej Pokusevski, Tre Mann, and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl still need to prove themselves, and I also like the potential of rookies Ousmane Dieng & Jalen Williams.

Houston definitely has scoring, need to focus on defending and making the right plays

We’ve already seen how versatile Jalen Green, Kevin Porter, Alperen Sengun, and Josh Christopher can be on offense. Plus rookies Jabari Smith, Tari Eason, and TyTy Washington scored a bunch of points in college. Working on team defense and taking care of the ball will be huge for this team during the next few years.
