For the second time this season the Lakers won two games in a row. After defeating the Nets, the Purple and Gold recorded a win against the Pistons (128-121).

It was a big night for Anthony Davis who led all scorers with 38 points in 34 minutes of play. In addition, the 29-year-old forward grabbed 16 rebounds and blocked 4 shots.

Lakers head coach Darvin Ham was delighted to see AD being aggressive and getting 21 free-throws. “Just his presence, man. He’s been a big force for us all year and tonight was no different,” he said.

This season Davis is averaging 24.3 points, 11.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 34.5 minutes per game.
