The Dallas Mavericks take a horrendous loss in the hands of a rebuilding Oklahoma City Thunder, but Luka Doncic is making it known that he is responsible for the team’s close downfall.

“That’s on me,” Doncic said. “I didn’t lead the team. I didn’t make shots. I didn’t do what needed to be done to win.”

Despite tallying a triple-double of 31 points, 16 boards and 10 assists, his performance only served as a dead air lifting the Mavs. He shot 34.8 percent from the field (8-for-23) and recorded a game-worst -25 in +/- rating.

Per ESPN’s Stats and Info, this serves as the lowest +/- for a triple-double since the 1996-1997 season.

The loss meant Doncic and the co. another blown opportunity to mark more wins to start the season. Similar to the outcome they had in their opener against the Phoenix Suns, Dallas blew a 16-point lead less than four minutes left in regulation, and proceeded to bow down in a 117-111 overtime loss.

The Mavs will look to regroup as they face the Orlando Magic on Sunday.
