Bojan Bogdanovic is reportedly looking for a multi-year contract extension, which diminished the initial interest he is gaining from rival teams (h/t insider Marc Stein).
As such, the Detroit Pistons pulled the trigger to acquire him, wherein the Utah Jazz received Kelly Olynyk and Saben Lee as returns.
Per Stein, the Pistons could use Bogdanovic, an expiring asset who has a $19.3MM salary next season, as a trade chip in midseason. As such, they will still look to assess him in hopes of nailing a probable Play-In seat.
A three-level scoring wing, the Croatian veteran carved up 18.4 points, 4.1 boards, 1.9 assists in 44/39/88 shooting splits with the Jazz for the past three seasons.
