Former number two draft pick James Wiseman had his rookie year ended prematurely by a meniscus injury that sidelined him for the entire 2022-2023 season.
He was not the first Warriors player who had to deal with a devastating injury. Klay Thompson returned to action this past season after missing two full seasons.
Wiseman revealed that he talked to the four-time NBA champion and took advice from him which helped him go through the rehab process.

“Some days weren’t good, but some days were great and he just took advantage of every moment,” Wiseman explained. “So when I was going through my rehab process, I took the same information … and I just added to my rehab.”
