The Heat are now trailing 2-3 in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Celtics after losing Game 5 in Miami. They were held to just 80 points as they struggled to make shots.
Jimmy Butler, who finished the game with 13 points, made just 4/18 field goals (1/5 three-pointers). After the game he was asked about what went wrong for his team.
“We all do [have to do a better job],” the 32-year-old small forward said. “We missed a lot of shots. More than anything we just had a lot of mental lapses in the second half on the defensive end and that was the game. I think we played a pretty decent first half, but you got to play two halves to win against them.”
