Jayson Tatum did not seem too affected by his shoulder injury in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals as he scored 22 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and dished out 9 assists, helping the Celtics take the win lead the series 3-2.

He was asked about the injury and how Boston was able to outlast Miami in this game. “It’s bothering, but I got Nick, my trainer, he taking care of me and we just figure it out,” the 24-year-old small forward said postgame.

“Obviously [the Heat are] a really good team. Both teams play hard and compete and things like that. But guys like D-White and obviously Smart being out there, just his presence, and JB made some big shots. Everybody contributed from the beginning to the end.”

The Celtics will have a chance to close out the series on Friday on their home court.
