D’Angelo Russell could be on the move this coming offseason after three years with the Timberwolves. The 26-year-old point guard, who arrived to Minnesota from Golden State for Andrew Wiggins, had a disappointing playoff series against the Grizzlies.

He averaged 12 points (32.7% field goals), 2.5 rebounds and 6.7 assists in 32.8 minutes per game over the six first round games. Russell’s regular season averages were 18.1 points (42% field goals), 3.3 rebounds and 7.1 assists in 32 minutes per game.

“Numerous rival teams expect the Wolves to try to trade Russell this offseason irrespective of Russell’s close relationship with Minnesota star Karl-Anthony Towns. Russell, 26, has one season left on his contract at $31.4 million.”
