Klay Thompson scored season-high 38 points as the Golden State Warriors defeated reigning NBA champions the Milwaukee Bucks.

Giannis Antetokounmpo admitted after the game that the players sort of forgot about Thompson as he missed two straight seasons with injuries.

“We haven’t seen him a while due to his injury. It’s almost like we forgot who he was,” Antetokounmpo said about Thompson, per Marc J. Spears.

Dubs head coach Steve Kerr only recently started playing Thompson for more than 30 minutes. The 32-year-old shooting guard is averaging 16.8 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 26.5 minutes per game this season.
